About the Role
We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join an early-stage product team building a modern marketplace platform from the ground up. In this role, you'll own critical product features across the full stack, working on everything from frontend experiences to backend services, payments, integrations, and platform architecture. You'll collaborate closely with a small, senior engineering team in a fast-paced environment where you'll have significant influence on technical decisions and product direction.
What You'll Do
• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Build scalable backend services using NestJS (or similar Node.js frameworks)
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases using Prisma
• Develop secure payment workflows using Stripe Connect, including escrow, payouts, refunds, and split payments
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party services such as authentication providers, calendar APIs, video platforms, and AI services
• Design reliable APIs, background jobs, and event-driven workflows with a focus on scalability and performance
• Ensure transactional integrity, security, and correctness across payment and scheduling systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features in a fast-moving startup environment
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of professional Full-Stack development experience
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and NestJS (or similar backend frameworks)
• Experience with PostgreSQL and modern ORM tools such as Prisma
• Proven experience building payment or marketplace platforms using Stripe Connect (required)
• Experience implementing transactional systems, webhooks, idempotency, and state management
• Experience integrating third-party APIs (OAuth, calendar providers, video platforms, or similar)
• Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, and scalable application development
• Experience working in startup or fast-paced product environments
• Strong communication skills and professional English proficiency
