We're looking for a React Native Mobile Engineer to take a hands-on role in designing, building, and shipping high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android. You'll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver polished, performant user experiences that matter to real people every day.

In this role, you'll own the mobile layer of our product — from architecture decisions and component design to performance tuning, release management, and continuous improvement. You'll be a key technical voice in shaping how we build for mobile, and you'll collaborate across time zones with a team that takes craft seriously.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and ship production-grade React Native applications for iOS and Android

• Translate product requirements and design mockups into clean, maintainable, and performant mobile code

• Build and maintain reusable component libraries and shared mobile infrastructure

• Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party SDKs

• Optimize app performance, startup time, and memory usage across a range of devices

• Manage the full release lifecycle including app store submissions, versioning, and over-the-air (OTA) updates

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and code quality

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and practices

• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive features

• Mentor junior mobile engineers and promote best practices across the team

What We're Looking For

• 4–6 years of overall mobile or front-end engineering experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React Native in a production environment

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

• Solid understanding of React fundamentals — hooks, context, state management, and component lifecycle

• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query

• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development is a strong plus

• Experience with Expo and/or bare React Native workflows

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar)

• Experience with app store submission and release processes (Apple App Store & Google Play)

• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform-specific design guidelines (HIG & Material)

• Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services

• Comfortable working with Git-based workflows in a collaborative team environment

• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience
