About the Role

We’re looking for an iOS Developer to take a hands-on role in designing, building, and shipping high-quality native iOS applications. You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver polished, performant user experiences that matter to real people every day.

In this role, you’ll own the iOS layer of our product — from architecture decisions and component design to performance tuning, release management, and continuous improvement. You’ll be a key technical voice in shaping how we build for Apple platforms, and you’ll collaborate across time zones with a team that takes craft seriously.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and ship production-grade native iOS applications using Swift

• Translate product requirements and design mockups into clean, maintainable, and performant iOS code

• Build and maintain reusable components, shared modules, and mobile infrastructure for iOS

• Integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and third-party SDKs

• Optimize app performance, startup time, memory usage, and responsiveness across Apple devices

• Manage the full release lifecycle including App Store submissions, versioning, testing, and deployment

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and code quality

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards and best practices

• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive features

• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the team

What We’re Looking For

• 4–6 years of overall mobile or software engineering experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building native iOS applications in a production environment

• Strong proficiency in Swift and solid experience with the iOS SDK

• Strong understanding of iOS development fundamentals, including app lifecycle, memory management, concurrency, and architecture patterns

• Experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit

• Familiarity with architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services

• Familiarity with dependency management tools such as Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods

• Experience with testing frameworks such as XCTest

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar)

• Experience with App Store submission and release processes

• Solid understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and mobile UI/UX best practices

• Comfortable working with Git-based workflows in a collaborative team environment

• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and a strong sense of ownership

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with Objective-C and maintaining legacy iOS codebases

• Experience with push notifications, background tasks, and offline storage

• Familiarity with analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring tools

• Experience building apps for iPadOS or other Apple ecosystem platforms

• Exposure to cross-functional collaboration in distributed remote teams
